Comment: A still from the television series, kept as a negative test case: an
image the scanner must decline rather than read an MRZ out of.

Comment: Tesseract OCR training data and a dump of tesseract's own parameter
list. Provenance unsettled: they arrived in 2021 from a tessdata/ directory,
with no record of whether they were trained here or taken from elsewhere.
 .
This matters more than for the other reference material, because
debian/install ships data/ to /usr/share/pgpid/ — these two files are in
the binary package. Their licence needs establishing.

Reference material, not ours to license.

These files were not written by us: published specifications, specimen
images, trained OCR data and program output, kept alongside the code so
that the code can be read, checked and tested against the documents it
implements. We claim no copyright over them and grant no rights in
them. They are not covered by the GPL-3 grant above; each travels under
its own terms, and for several of them those terms are restrictive.
 .
Reuse of any of them should be arranged with whoever published it.
 .
With one exception, noted above, these files are part of the source only
and are not installed by the binary package.
